This property had no existing cellar or basement.

Design brief:

To create a whole new basement level below the existing ground floor allowing for internal glass lightwells. As this was a Mews estate with no external garden area, external light well space was not an option, making it more challenging to bring natural light into the basement. As well as the retrofit basement of 77.5m2 we also carried out a full house refurbishment. An exciting project which was extremely difficult logistically in a very confined space.

Bedroom, two studies, shower room, gym and full house refurbishment.
